Cheetah Mobile Announces Strategic Cooperation with D2CR and IGAWorks

On Jan. 27th, Cheetah Mobile Inc. announced its strategic cooperation and MOU signing with D2CR, a professional Japanese mobile application marketing company, and IGAWorks, a South Korean mobile business platform provider. According to the agreement, Cheetah Mobile Inc. will work with D2CR and IGAWorks to expand its business in Japan.
D2CR has rich experience in marketing for major game developers in Japan. It is a specialized mobile app-based advertising company under D2C, an Internet advertising company jointly established by Dentsu, the Japanese advertising giant, and NTT Docomo, the mobile communication carrier. IGAWorks is a mobile business platform provider in South Korea. The company provides services including campaign planning, advertising effect tracing tools and push notifications to mobile application advertisers and has provided services to more than 10,000 apps in South Korea, Japan and the rest of the world.
D2CR and IGAWorks will act as sales partners in Japan in assisting Cheetah Mobile to expand its mobile Internet advertising business to South Korea, Japan and the whole world, thus reinforcing its global market share.
Up to now, the Cheetah Mobile products have garnered over 2 billion downloads and 567 million monthly active app users worldwide. Downloads of its junk cleaner product, Clean Master, have exceeded 500 million worldwide, topping the Google Play tools ranking in over 50 countries. The Cheetah Ad Platform gathers a huge number of global users, providing quality advertising traffic for advertisers around the world. Cooperation with D2CR and IGAWorks is a significantly step for Cheetah Mobile to expand its Japanese market and improve its capability to serve the local advertisers.
